Basic strategies include...

  • Each page of the website should have purpose. For example, the homepage should entice users to click through to categories or a product. The product page objective is to provide the user with all the information necessary to make a purchase and make it very simple to add an item to the shopping cart.
  • Engage Users ...  Look for opportunities to bring users back to your website wherever possible. Ideally, the more a visitor visits your website, the more likely they are to make a purchase.
  • Make it Obvious ... Display your contact information visibly for your customers, this way they know how to contact you if they have a question. 
  • Easy Checkout ... Create a checkout process that makes it effortless for your visitors to get their products,  pages in your checkout process should be clearly labeled and free of clutter.
